Tantus Goddess Vibrating Dildo Review

Goddess1

The Goddess from Tantus is an incredibly beautiful vibrating dildo. The colour is gorgeous, a pearly, glittery and shimmery white that almost sparkles at certain angles. It’s also available in Purple Haze, but I have it in Pearl White. The shape looks slightly awkward, with the head featuring two…ulcers?… on the sides. The pronounced head leads to gentle ripples which are delicate as far as texture is concerned. Whilst this is primarily a silicone dildo, you’re able to turn it into a vibrating one using the included bullet vibrator which slips into the bottom of the toy.

The silicone Goddess is made out of is firm but still fairly flexible. It feels softer than my Tantus Vamp but nowhere near as squishy as my two O2 dildos, Cush and Flurry. For some reason, I keep referring to it as Godzilla and I have no idea why, the name just seems to be stuck in my head. I mean, it’s not like it looks like a scary Japanese monster – it looks totally girly and makes me think of a bride on her wedding day.

It has a wide base making it harness compatible & butt safe if you feel like using it that way. There is a bullet located in the bottom and – anytime the bullet is out – I keep sticking my finger in that hole because it’s sort of textured and feels surprisingly good. If I had a penis, I’d want to stick it in that hole.

A substantial toy this isn’t. Being just over 5 inches in insertible length it’s actually on the smaller side, but the head makes it surprisingly difficult to insert or thrust with it effectively. It almost hurts when I remove it too, but not as much as the Double O does, because the material is softer. The sticky out things on the side of the head are just strange and make the toy look a bit like an alien to me (a pretty, sparkly one though). They add absolutely nothing in terms of pleasure, which is disappointing.

The texture is so bland and ordinary that it doesn’t do anything for me at all, I honestly can’t tell it’s even there during use. My vagina is usually a big fan of texture, but clearly not in this case. I think the main reason for that is the location of the ripples – the front of the toy seems to feature the most texture, whilst the sides and back have clearly been left out.

When using it with the bullet, I found that it doesn’t add much in terms of sensations – but I never use internal vibrators because they simply don’t feel good to me so I might be slightly biased here. The vibrations don’t travel through the material that well, they’re concentrated towards the bottom of the toy. Then again you can’t expect much from something that gets its power from a tiny bullet vibrator, barely bigger than my thumb.

I like to thrust with my dildos, at least slowly and shallowly but this toy and it’s deformed head don’t allow me to do that. The silicone is also super draggy and needs buckets full of lube to feel even remotely good. On the plus side, it’s easy to hold – I stick my middle finger in that textured base which prevents the dildo from twisting during use.

The Goddess is an okay dildo, but it didn’t impress me in the slightest and didn’t get me anywhere near an orgasm. Using it with the bullet vibrator wasn’t any better, but I generally don’t like internal vibrations. It’s just one of those toys that are so mediocre the only way to describe them is ‘meh’. So yes, this is a Goddess. Goddess of frustration and inability to make you orgasm. It lures you in with its beautiful looks and promises of great pleasure, but sadly doesn’t deliver.
