Tantus Tsunami Vibrating Dildo Review

Tsunami

When the Tsunami first arrived, I had some serious regrets that I even agreed to review it in the first place. It certainly looks different, but it just seemed so intimidating at first. For some reason, I was a little bit reluctant to use it, and it took me over a month to even work up the courage to do so. But I finally did, and I’m very glad I got over my initial fears because this (vibrating) dildo is awesome.

It looks quite large and long, I’ve read a few reviews of it and most people made it sound absolutely massive, which is probably one of the reasons why I was so nervous to use it. Tsunami is made out of the usual Tantus 100% Ultra Premium silicone which is quite firm but still fairly flexible.

The colour is beautiful! I’m not usually a fan of pink, but Tsunami has this shiny surface with hints of blue/purple showing through at certain angles. I think it would have looked amazing in blue or sea green to fit in with the ocean & wave theme so it’s a shame it’s only available in Strawberry, Purple Haze and Midnight Purple.

The texture on this dildo may look intimidating at first, but it’s actually great. The waves look slightly pointy but they don’t feel that way during use at all. The flared base makes Tsunami harness compatible as well as safe for anal use if you’re feeling brave.

Being just under 7  inches in insertible length, I’m surprised by how much of the Tsunami I can take! However, it’s still not quite enough to be able to feel that lovely looking texture towards the bottom back of the toy. I usually struggle to insert dildos past their halfway point so I was very proud of myself on this one. I think the slightly curved shaft is what makes Tsunami such a pleasure to insert. It’s also slimmer at the top and gets wider towards the bottom steadily, which definitely helps to get your vagina used to the subtle increase in size.

The head however, hits my g-spot with ease but not enough to stimulate it to the point for me to be able to get a good orgasm out of it.  It’s smooth and rounded, so that it doesn’t poke into my cervix uncomfortably.

There is the option of turning this into a vibrating dildo, using the silver bullet inserted into the base. I’m not even going to lie to you, I lost that bullet within 10 minutes of taking Tsunami out of the box. It’s slightly different than the bullet included with the Goddess, being slightly longer with a pointed tip. Anyway, I think the bullet is completely unnecessary when you already have so much texture. If you really do want the vibrations, I’ve heard of many people who substitute the basic silver bullet with the We-Vibe Tango/Salsa because they tend to be more powerful.

I really like the Tsunami. So much so that I’m prepared to warm up to be able to use it, seeing as I usually get lazy when it comes to toys that tend to be large in size. So I will ride the wave of pleasure, thanks Tantus. It is challenging, but I think if you like texture and enjoy dildos slightly larger than average you will really like this.

Tantus kindly provided me with the Tsunami in exchange for my honest review.
